Our Parish is Ukrainian Orthodox, and we worship God through the ancient traditions of the Holy Orthodox Church. We warmly welcome all Christians to worship with us.
Our Parish was formed after the board of St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bloomingdale made a unilateral decision to abandon Canonical Orthodoxy. That step created a split in the congregation and resulted in the creation of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Bensenville, IL.
So, it is the mission of our Parish to remain faithful to the Holy Orthodox Church of our ancestors, to be a visible presence of Jesus Christ in the daily life of our congregation and our community, and to celebrate Gods unconditional love for us all.
Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church belongs to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the United States of America (UOC of USA), whose Administrative Center and National Headquarters are located in South Bound Brook, New Jersey.
The UOC of USA was created in 1950 when the American-Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, headed by Archbishop John (Theodorovich), joined with a majority of the parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in America and Bishop Mstyslav, to form one strong and united Church.
In 1995, the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew, accepted the UOC of USA under his patronage. This act gave the churches within the UOC of USA Canonical recognition in world Orthodoxy. At long last, our Ukrainian church here in America became equal and in communion with all other Canonical Orthodox churches in the world. This is a recognition that the Orthodox church in our native Ukraine lost in 1686 and, sadly, is still struggling to achieve.
Christianity originally came to Ukraine from Constantinople, and this reunion with Constantinople has brought us back to the roots of our faith, the faith of our ancestors, and the mother church of Ukraine. |

Наша Парафія є Українська Православна Церква в США. Ми служимо Господу-Богові згідно з давньою традицією Святої Православної Церкви. Ми щиро запрошуємо всіх христіян до спільної молитви на наших Богослужбах.
Наша парафія зформувувалася після того, коли парафіяльна управа Української Православної Церкви Св.Андрія в Блумінгдейл своїм односторонним рішенням вийшла з юрисдикції канонічної Православної Церкви. Це довело до розламу парафіян. Слідувало одночасно створення нової парафії Святої Тройці, Української Православної Церкви в Бенсенвіл, ІЛ.
Завданням нашої парафії є бути вірними до Святої Православної Церкви наших предків, у щоденному житті парафіян і громади бути свідомими присутности Ісуса Христа і звеличати Господа Бога за дані нам ласки та любов. |
